I have had extensive experience in Chemical, LPG, Oil & Gas rig/refinery construction, logistics,

Health-Safety-Environmental, Operations Management, maritime transportation and refinery/oil rig

production. I have managed over 600 employees on a daily basis. Plus, I have been the Incident

Commander for Kirby Inland Marine whereby I was the liaison between our company and all other

customers and governing agencies. Additionally, I have extensive Safety experience in training,

implementation, procedure writing and documentation.

Randy Scott has a proven track record as an Operations, Logistics and Scheduling Professional with

over 20 years of experience in these areas. On a daily basis, Randy was the person in charge (PIC) of

176 vessels, over 3,000 tank barges, 600 employees and 100+ transfer destinations throughout the

entire USA waterway system. This included receiving an order from the customer, assigning the proper

in-house equipment & manpower for the job, accessing and setting up the additional outside equipment

& manpower needed, preparing/making ready said equipment, assigning the adequate vessel(s) to the

job, and dissemination of the orders throughout all departments within the company. Considerations to

implement customer orders required coordination of the following: the US Coast Guard, Vessel

Operations, Barge Maintenance & Repair, the transfer facilities, associated shore side support services,

and the customer/agents involved.

Oil & Gas Rig Construction Professional

Randy Scott began his career in the Oil & Gas industry tending offshore rigs in Texas. He and his crew

refurbished and reconditioned operational rigs in the bay and gulf. This included sandblasting &

painting, repairing/replacing piping & valves and repairing/replacing instrumentation. He also worked

in the yard, building new offshore Oil & Gas rigs that were later installed in the bays and gulf. Over

time, Randy began to work more closely with customers in the planning and design phases in Oil &

Gas rig development, making sure time-lines were met and costs were kept below budget. Safety and

Environmental concerns also became a top priority with the company and the customers, so Randy

added this to his list of duties. From being a Roustabout to Operations Manager, Randy has excelled in

the Oil & Gas rig construction field and would make for a great addition to your talented group of

employees.

Safety and Environmental Professional

Randy Scott is a seasoned and successful Safety and Environmental Professional with over 10 years of

experience in writing and implementing company-wide Standard Operating Procedures. Randy also

acted as Command Manager for environmental spills, investigations and accidents in the Oil & Gas

industry. Duties included notifications of the applicable state and local authorities, the National

Response Center, the US Coast Guard and company/customer representatives. This included

coordinating emergency spill response contractors, the US Coast Guard and other necessary

equipment/manpower resources to ensure minimal environmental impact. Randy is a passionate, driven
