Dear Parents, Fathers Day is always a highlight of our year. It is the most wonderful sight to walk around the school and to see our Dads, interacting so happily with their children. Our Grade 00 Dads had an opportunity to enjoy a Playball lesson with their children on the tennis courts this was a first and a huge success! Proverbs 14 v 26 says: Confidence and strength flood the hearts of the lover of God, who live in awe of Him, and their devotion provides their children with a place of shelter and security. As believers, we receive our identity and significance from our Father God, first and foremost. Biblically, our daughters receive this identity from their moms and our sons, from their fathers. All boys want to grow up to be just like their hero's – their Dads and all girls want to grow up to marry someone “just like their dad”. What an incredibly vital role fathers play! Our prayer for the dads of our school is that God will guide you as the leaders of your home. May you always know how important your role is as a Dad. May God grant you wisdom, faith, steadfastness and gentleness so that you may be a man of character, and a leader your children can look up to. Thank you to all the Dads/ Grandpa’s who spent the morning with your children. Happy Fathers Day for Sunday! As this is the last newsletter for the term, we pray you have a wonderful break with your family and we will see you back on the 17 th of July. Dear Parents,

Fathers Day is always a highlight of our year. It is the most wonderful sight to walk around the school and to

see our Dads, interacting so happily with their children. Our Grade 00 Dads had an opportunity to enjoy a

Playball lesson with their children on the tennis courts – this was a first and a huge success!

Proverbs 14 v 26 says: Confidence and strength flood the hearts of the lover of God, who live in awe of

Him, and their devotion provides their children with a place of shelter and security. As believers, we receive

our identity and significance from our Father God, first and foremost. Biblically, our daughters receive this

identity from their moms and our sons, from their fathers. All boys want to grow up to be just like their hero's

– their Dads and all girls want to grow up to marry someone “just like their dad”. What an incredibly vital

role fathers play!

Our prayer for the dads of our school is that God will guide you as the leaders of your home. May you

always know how important your role is as a Dad. May God grant you wisdom, faith, steadfastness and

gentleness so that you may be a man of character, and a leader your children can look up to.

Thank you to all the Dads/ Grandpa’s who spent the morning with your children. Happy Fathers Day for

Sunday! As this is the last newsletter for the term, we pray you have a wonderful break with your family and

we will see you back on the 17th of July.

God Bless,

Love, Andy

school will finish at 11:30 am.

Please let your child’s

transport know. School re-

opens on Tuesday, the 17 July

Don’t Forget

Many parents have asked us

where we buy our Educational

toys from. We buy most of our

toys from Louise’s Toy Store.

She will be doing a toy display

for the school outside the Pre-

Primary Reception on

Wednesday 20th June at 12:30

– 13:15. All parents are more

than welcome to come view

the display and purchase toys

if they wish to. Please note

that she will only be able to

accept cash.

I am sure a number of our little ones

are very blessed to have a special

person at home, other than their

Mom, Dad or Granny who lends a

helping hand around the house. We

always like to say thank you to

these amazing ladies and give them

a spoil.

On break up day, the 22nd of June,

please bring them to school with

your child, together with a packed

breakfast for 2 so they can enjoy it

together.

Please note that if you do not have

a domestic worker/ Au Pair, to bring

with your child, it will not be a

problem as they will enjoy their

breakfast with their teacher and

friends.

Grade 000 –Theme: Shells, scales, feathers, fur

Grade 00 –Theme: Mammals

GRADE INFORMATION

The Grade 000’s have thoroughly enjoyed our shells, scales, feathers and fur theme. They have

crated bright and beautiful artwork! There is great excitement in the nest, as the children have been

practising and preparing for our Father’s Day Celebration, this will most definitely be the highlight of

our week!

Please ask your child to describe what the same is, or different between “animal” species and

individual creatures i.e.: mammals and birds. Are both warm blooded?

- Mammals have fur, birds have wings

- An ant has 6 legs and an elephant has 4

- A crocodile and a giraffe both have a spine
