In this program, 4-H members will be able to choose one project to compete in and must register to compete in this program by January 31, 2015. This Program excludes Cloverbud 4-H members because Cloverbuds are non-competitive. Awards will be given out in each of these four categories. Members will be judged on the following:

Award for Excellence Program 2015 Malheur County 4-H

Additional Rules: To be eligible for the Award for Excellence Program, 4-H members must be enrolled in Malheur County 4-H by January 31, 2015. In the event of a tie in one of the four categories of Large Animal, Horse, Small Animal, or Non- Animal, the following will be considered, in this order, to determine the winner:

1. Member who has the highest presentation/demonstration score. The presentation or demonstration must be on the project declared on the Award for Excellence Application.

2. The actual score of the judging contest. Because a percentage is used to determine the winner, it is possible that the actual scores are different.

3. Have an independent person evaluate and determine which project record book is the best.
