Here are a few tips to help you fit in fitness in the New Year.

• Remember that anymovement is betterthannone.Ifyouonlyhave15minuteseachdaytogoforapowerwalk,those15minuteswillequal105minutes(almosttwohours)bytheendoftheweek,420minutes(sevenhours)ofexerciseeachmonthand91hoursofexerciseayear!Smallthingscanadduptobigvictoriesovertime.

• Makeuseoftheearlyhours.Iusedtodreadgettingupat5:20everymorning.ButnowIloveit,becauseafterIgetreadyforwork,itguaranteesmeafewminutestomyselfbefore anyone else is awake. Similarly,gettingworkouts inbefore thebusydaykicksoffensuresthattheyhappen,andthedaywillbebetterbecauseofit.
