RAK Ceramics è tra delle maggiori multinazionali al mondo nel settore ceramico.

L’obiettivo dei fondatori, sostenuto con grande determinazione sin dall’avvio della produzione nel 1991, era quello di creare un’azienda di successo leader nella produzione di piastrelle in ceramica, gres porcellanato, sanitari e accessori per il bagno.

Prodotti di assoluta eccellenza per l’interior design e la progettazione architettonica, volti a soddisfare gli standard mondiali in termini di qualità ed estetica.

I primi passi della produzione sono così progrediti con sostegno e perseveranza per oltre 20 anni sino a trasformare RAK Ceramics in ciò che è oggi, una realtà industriale di livello mondiale tra le principali imprese di produzione ceramica nel mondo.

Attualmente gli impianti RAK Ceramics nella sede di Ras Al Khaimah negli Emirati Arabi producono da soli circa 227.000 mq al giorno di piastrelle di ceramica e gres porcellanato, oltre a 8.500 pezzi al giorno di sanitari.

Includendo anche gli stabilimenti di proprietà nel resto del mondo, la produzione mondiale del Gruppo ha ormai superato la quota giornaliera di 360.000 mq di piastrelle e 12.000 articoli sanitari consentendo a RAK Ceramics di esportare in oltre 135 paesi su 5 continenti e di essere uno dei principali innovatori mondiali del settore.

RAK Ceramics is one of the world’s major multinationals in the ceramics sector.

The founders’ objective, pursued with great determination since production start-up in 1991, was to create a successful company, a leader in the production of ceramic tiles, porcelainized Grès, sanitary ware and bathroom accessories.

The first steps in production proceeded in a sustained and persevering manner for more than 20 years until RAK Ceramics was transformed into what it is today, an international industrial concern, one of the main producers of ceramics worldwide.

RAK Ceramics set up one of its most important branch offices in Italy in order to supervise directly and efficiently the spreading of its products on the Italian market and the European market in general.

In fact RAK Ceramics Distribution Europe srl is in Sassuolo, at the centre of the world’s greatest ceramics district, a commercial structure capable of serving the continental market, with quality and efficiency, through a network of agents, distributors and retailers. With 7,500 square metres of warehouse for product storage and a 1,000 square metre showroom, RAK Ceramics Distribution Europe is moreover the logistics arm with which the Group ensures an increasingly efficient distribution and customer care service “all around the world”.

RAK Ceramics Distribution Europe srl holds the licence for distribution, sales and service of all RAK Ceramics and Elegance Ceramiche brand typologies of ceramic and porcelainized Grès tiles, sanitary ware and bathroom accessories.

CERAMICA VITREOUS CHINALa ceramica è un materiale altamente apprezzato per le sue elevate prestazioni e caratteristiche tecniche.Risulta infatti essere una miscela di importanti materie prime quali Argilla, Caolino, Quarzo e Feldspato, ognuna delle quali contribuisce ad assicurare una notevole resistenza e durevolezza ai prodotti. Tutte le materie prime, prima di essere impiegate nella produzione dei nostri sanitari, vengono sottoposte ai più severi controlli di qualità.Il ciclo di miscelatura delle materie si compone di fasi salienti, al termine delle quali il composto risulterà omogeneo e completamente privo di impurità, pronto quindi per essere trasferito alla fase successiva, il colaggio.Durante quest’ultima lavorazione, la miscela viene trasferita all’interno di stampi in resina, il prodotto inizia così a prendere forma.I processi successivi, essicazione e ispezione, preparano il prodotto a subire l’ultima trasformazione.I pezzi così ottenuti sono pronti per essere inviati alla cabina di verniciatura dapprima e successivamente nei forni per la cottura ad una temperatura di 1220° C. Questa elevata temperatura assicura al prodotto finito un livello di assorbimento dell’acqua non superiore allo 0.5%

Il complesso processo di trasformazione delle materie è la garanzia per un prodotto finale igienico, ignifugo, antimacchia e resistente ad acidi e alcalini.

CERAMICS VITREOUS CHINACeramic is a material highly appreciated for its high performances and technical features.It is in fact a mixture of significant raw materials such as Clay, Kaolin, Quartz and Feldspar, each of which contributes to ensuring considerably tough and durable products. Prior to their use in the manufacture of our sanitary ware, all the raw materials undergo the most stringent quality control.The materials mixing cycle consists of certain salient phases at the end of which the compound is homogeneous and wholly free of impurities, and therefore ready for the subsequent phase of casting.During the latter work process the mixture is transferred to resin moulds and the product begins to take shape.The subsequent procedures – drying and inspection – prepare the product for its final transformation.The pieces thus obtained are ready to be conveyed first to the painting booth and then to the kilns for firing at a temperature of 1220° C. This high temperature guarantees that the finished product will have a water absorption level no greater than 0.5%

The complex process of materials transformation ensures that the end product will be hygienic, fireproof, stainless and resistant to acids and alkalis.

La maggior parte della produzione di sanitari e accessori per il bagno di RAK Ceramics è realizzata nello stabilimento di Ras Al Khaimah dove due unità produttive coprono oltre il 70% dei 12.000 pezzi al giorno commercializzati dal Gruppo nel mondo. Le fabbriche sono dotate di 5 forni, uno dei quali dedicato alla produzione di accessori, e sistemi di spruzzatura computerizzati in grado di donare ad ogni componente una finitura unica e impeccabile.

Viene così prodotta un’ampia gamma di suite da bagno composte da differenti modelli di lavabi (da incasso, a colonna, d’arredo), vasi (WC), bidet, vasche da bagno, piatti doccia, oltre ad accessori tecnici e d’arredo, set decorati e soluzioni per zone pubbliche e comunità

Most of RAK Ceramics’ production of sanitary ware and bathroom accessories takes place at the premises in Ras Al Khaimah where two production units cover more than 70% of the 12,000 items daily that the Group markets worldwide. The factories are equipped with 5 kilns, one of which is dedicated to accessories, and computerised spraying systems that give each component a unique and impeccable finish.

The result is a wide range of bathroom suites consisting of different models of washbasins (inset, column, vanity), WCs, bidets, bathtubs and shower trays, as well as technical and furnishing accessories, decorated sets and solutions for public and community zones.

RAK Ceramics è stata infatti la prima azienda negli Emirati Arabi a certificare i suoi prodotti secondo la norma UNI EN ISO 9001, lo standard qualitativo più completo e globale per qualsiasi azienda industriale. Implementandola poi con successo attraverso le certificazioni ISO 9001:2008 e ISO 14001:2008 per progettazione, sviluppo, produzione e fornitura di ceramica e gres porcellanato e rivestimenti, lastre in gres porcellanato e sanitari vitreous china, tra cui vasche in acrilico e piatti doccia, sedili WC e coperchi.

Le piastrelle RAK Ceramics sono conformi agli standard americani espressi dalle norme nazionali specifiche ANSI A 137,1-1988, agli ultimi standard internazionali ISO 13006:1998 (E) e a diversi altri riconoscimenti di qualità garantiti da istituti di prova riconosciuti a livello mondiale. A seconda della particolare applicazione, inoltre, le piastrelle di ceramica di RAK Ceramics rispondono alla classificazione CEN per l’assorbimento d’acqua (BIa <= 0,5%; BIb> 0,5% e <= 3%; BIIa> 3% <= 6%; BIII> 10%).

I prodotti del Gruppo RAK Ceramics sono quindi accettati ovunque nel mondo e utilizzati da numerosi progettisti, architetti e istituzioni pubbliche di grande rilevanza, a testimonianza delle loro caratteristiche di Qualità.

RAK Ceramics’ systems of quality management comply with the highest regulatory standards established by the main institutions worldwide. A technological, production and services excellence which is guaranteed by the chief international certifications that testify to the conformity of RAK Ceramics with rigorous standards in every aspect of the production cycle.

In fact RAK Ceramics was the first company in the Arab Emirates to certificate its products in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001, the most complete and global qualitative standard for any industrial company. Subsequently implementing it successfully through certification ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2008 for design, development, production and supply of ceramics and porcelainized Grès, facings, slabs in porcelainized Grès and vitreous china sanitary ware, including acrylic tubs, shower trays, WC seats and covers.

RAK Ceramics tiles comply with the American standards expressed in the specific national regulations ANSI A 137,1-1988, with the latest international standards ISO 13006:1998 (E) and with various other quality acknowledgements granted by test institutes recognised at world level. Infinity è il nome della collezione di sanitari che Rak Ceramics ha creato nel segno del design, della funzionalità e dell’innovazione. Il design si nota nei lavabi e soprattutto nella bellissima bacinella da appoggio.La funzionalità è evidenziata dal vaso e dal bidet a filo muro. Il sedile in termoindurente perfettamente coprente e rallentato si fonde con il vaso. L’innovazione è enfatizzata dalla mancanza dei fori di fissaggio laterali nel vaso e nel bidet sospesi. Tutti i vasi Infinity sono realizzati con brida chiusa per assicurare la massima pulizia nel tempo con ogni flusso d’acqua. Allungati e sinuosi come la chiglia di una nave, vaso e bidet sospesi Infinity permettono un’ottima pulizia sottostante grazie alla giusta altezza da terra.

Infinity is the name of the sanitaryware collection Rak Ceramics has created in the name of design, functionality and innovation. All of this allows for unique settings, places that fully reflect the personality of who lives them. Design can be seen in the washbasins, especially in the beautiful above countertop basin. Functionality is characteristic for the back to wall toilet and bidet. The perfectly adhering heat cured soft close toilet seat is all in one with the toilet. Innovation is emphasised by the lack of lateral anchorage holes in the suspended toilet and bidet. All Infinity toilets are made with a closed rim to guarantee maximum hygiene through time with each flush. Elongated and sinuous like the keel of a ship, Infinity suspended toilets and bidets have excellent underlying clean lines thanks to its right height from the ground.

Metropolitan di Rak Ceramics è una collezione dalle forme rigorose e versatili, disegnata per le case dei nostri giorni. Perfettamente carenata ed installabile anche filo muro, Metropolitan grazie alle dimensioni contenute (solo 52,5 cm di lunghezza), si adatta alle sale bagno di qualsiasi dimensione. Il sedile in termoindurente perfettamente coprente completa armoniosamente il vaso fino a formarne un corpo unico. Per un maggior confort è disponibile anche il sedile rallentato. In nome di questa unicità RAK ha disegnato ONE, la prima serie studiata esclusivamente per il mercato italiano con l’obiettivo di creare un prodotto originale nelle linee, esclusivo nella concettualità, ma destinato alle più svariate soluzioni d’arredo. Tecnicamente One è una serie completa, curata in ogni dettaglio. Perfettamente filo muro, con brida chiusa, sedile rallentato, One è enfatizzata dalla presenza in gamma dei lavabi asimmetrici da 65 cm. In elegante contrasto con le ridotte dimensioni di vaso e bidet (52 cm). Declinata nelle due versioni a terra e sospesa, One è dunque una collezione assolutamente versatile e in grado di adattarsi ad ogni spazio, anche a quelli più contenuti, mantenendo un alto livello di comfort.

In occasione del Cersaie 2012 la linea One si rinnova attraverso il colore, riportandoci con la memoria indietro nel tempo ai colori e alle impressioni degli anni ‘50 e ‘60. Il colore che caratterizza la nuova serie Rak Sanitari è un azzurro pastello, molto delicato e di chiara ispirazione retrò, ma che nel panorama attuale rappresenta una piacevole novità. La bianchina, la vespa, la 500, sono nell’immaginario collettivo un ricordo ancora molto vivido, che Rak Sanitari ha deciso di riproporre nella sua nuova serie di sanitari. Nasce così, da un’ispirazione vintage, la linea One Blue. Il colore azzurro, unito alle linee moderne del design dei sanitari della linea One, dà vita ad una visione della sala da bagno. Un insieme raffinato e piacevole che, unito alla finitura lucida della ceramica, dona all’ambiente bagno una nuova dimensione, con più carattere e vivacità. For Cersaie 2012, the One line colour palette has been updated to bring us back to the shades and impressions of the Fifties and Sixties. The colour which typifies the new Rak Bathware series is pastel blue, delicate and with a distinct retro feel, and a welcome new option in today’s available range. The Bianchina, the Vespa, the 500, are still vivid memories in our collective imagination which Rak Bathware decided to evoke in its new bathware series. The vintage-inspired One Blue line was born. The light blue colour, along with the modern design of the One line of bathware, inspires a new bathroom vision. A sophisticated, pleasant combination which, enhanced by the glossy ceramic finish, adds character and spark to bathrooms.
