INTRODUCTION
Oil seeds and pulses are sick segment of Indianagriculture.
Till 1965, India was an exporter, but later imports
of oil became necessary to meet the surgingdemand.
Area under oilseeds crops is 200.7 lakh ha.(14.04%). In Rajasthan 25.2 lakh ha. Is under
oilseeds(18.45%) Production is about 155 tonnes.

WEAKNESS
The area and production of soyabean has shownconsistent increase over years but the productionhas not been able to meet the increase.
It is difficult for marginal and poor farmers tobecome member as the meage land holding theyposses are usually used for staple food.
The supply of fertilisers and pesticides was not
paid enough attention.

Use of decentralised power in order to reduce theprocedural delays and efficient working takes place
Easy accessibility should be taken into
consideration By providing sufficient funds in advance the
financial disbursement can be avoided
Proper marketing strategies should have been
developed Proper monitoring on the inputs should be done to
avoid usage of poor quality of products
