ABOUT RIET Rajasthan Institute of Engineering &
Technology,Jaipur (RIET-Jaipur), a premier technical &
management institution, was established in the year
2000. With its dedicated and committed efforts, the
institution has earned the reputation of one of the Best
Engineering and Management Institution in Rajasthan
for boys and girls. RIET campus is located over a
sprawling and lush green area at Bhankrota, Ajmer
Road, Jaipur. The institute aims at providing broad
based knowledge and simultaneously builds a temper
for the life long process of learning and exploring. The
institute offers undergraduate programs for students
having technical bent of mind in Computer Science,
Information Technology, Electronics &
Communication, Electrical & Electronics Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and
Civil Engineering leading to B.Tech. Degree. The
institution also offers PG Programs in M.Tech, MCA &
MBA. All the courses are duly approved by AICTE and
affiliated to RTU , Kota.
Our world is changing rapidly due to
technological advances, migration and
residential patterns, and global economic,
environmental, politician and social con-
ditions. In such an environment, we need
ongoing assessment based education that
will help to build up the educational
programs, policies and related strategies
in order to meet the needs, interests,
expectations and aspirations of
individuals and communities alike. We

BAISAKHI

The Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology
celebrated BAISAKHI on 13-04-2018. It is
usually celebrated on 13 or 14 April every
year. Vaisakhi marks the Sikh new year and
commemorates the formation of Khalsa panth of
warriors under Guru Gobind Singh in 1699. It is
additionally a spring harvest festival for the Sikhs. ...
This festival in Hinduism is known by various regional
names.
WORLD EARTH DAY
(22-04-2018)
Rajasthan Institute of Engineering & Technology has
celebrated World Earth Day on 22-04-2018.On
this Earth Day, We hope the theme of “End Plastic
Pollution” provides the inspiration needed to change
human attitude towards plastic, reiterating our resolve
to preserve our Mother Earth and keep it clean and
healthy.
WORLD BOOK DAY

Rajasthan Institute of Engineering & Technology has
celebrated World Book Day on 23-04-2018.
A book is our best friend, teacher, and
guide. It empowers us with knowledge,
wisdom and inspires us to dream and
achieve. This World Book Day, let's strive
to bring the magic of books back into our
lives and inculcate the habit of reading,
especially among the younger generation.
EXODUS

RIET Jaipur organized the farewell party “Exodus” on 28th April 2018 at the college
main stage, where students of B.Tech 3rd
year bid farewell to the final year with
great enthusiasm. The function began
with the lamp lighting ceremony by
respected Principal, RIET Prof. (Dr.) Saroj
Hiranwal, Prof Sachin Sharma vice
Principal (RIET) & all the respected HODs.
Principal, RIET Prof. (Dr.) Saroj Hiranwal
wished the final year students the very
best for their future. Speaking on the
occasion she said that RIET is proud of the
many achievements of the final year
students over the years, the various
accomplishments in almost all curricular

and extracurricular activities. The brilliant
achievements in academic discourse and in sports are
indeed acknowledged. The memories of each student
will forever remain in hearts of all RIETians.
The students of the 3rd year presented a dance, a duet
song, and various performances. The students of the
final year then participated in the ramp walk which
was thoroughly enjoyed by the crowd. Different tags
were awarded to the final year students as a token of
love.
A special performance was arranged for
the selection of “Mr & Miss Farewell” and
the award of Mr. Farewell was presented
to Mr. Manu Pratap Singh Shekhawat and
the award for Miss Farewell was
presented to Miss Malvika Upadhyay. The
show ended with a DJ night where
students enjoyed the music and dance and
dinner.
The night was ended on a good note.
Principal Dr. Saroj Hiranwal wishes every
student for their better future.

Jaipur has celebrated World Environment Day on 05-
06-2018. As Mahamata Gandhi ji said "World has
enough for everyone's need but not enough for
everyone's greed". So, Save Environment, Save Future

3 DAYS TEACHER’S TRAINING WORKSHOP ON
INDUCTION PROGRAM
(13-06-2018 TO 15-06-2018)
TEQIP III RTU (ATU) Sponsored Teachers Training
Workshop on “ Induction Programme” was
organized at Global Institute of Technology, Jaipur
from 13-06-2018 to 15-06-2018. Guest Speakers
were Dr. Ajay Jain from IIT Delhi, Prof. Surendra
Pathak and Prof. Rajeev Sangal, Director, IIT, BHU. The
induction program was designed to make the newly
joined students feel comfortable sensitize them
towards exploring their academic interests and
activities reducing competition and making them work
for excellence promote bonding within them, , build
relations between teachers and students, give broader

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

Rajasthan Institute of Engineering & Technology,
Jaipur has celebrated International Yoga Day on 21-
06-2018. . Today’s world is very fast and busy for
everyone. So it is necessary for one and all to have a
healthy mind and body both. Rising early and engaging
oneself in yoga meditation and is a perfect start of the
day.
Regular practice
brings peace within us and keeps our Heart in a
blissful state helping us deal effectively with the
stressful challenges of life. Yoga is thus important in
improving our quality of life. Keeping all these in view,
Yoga day was observed in RIET campus for students
and staff on International Yoga Day, 21.6.18.
ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON DEVELOPED
VILLAGES- DEVELOPED NATION

Gajendra Sujediya from Department of Electronics &
Communication Engineering of RIET-Jaipur ,have
attended one day workshop on Developed Villages -
Developed Nation: Role of Technical Institutions in
SansadAdarsh Gram Yojana which was scheduled
on 26th June 2018 at National Institute of Technical
Teacher Training Institute (NITTTR), Sector – 26,
Chandigarh. In this regards, Shri.V.P. Singh Badnore
(Administrator), Governer of Chandigarh (UT) was
chief guest. Saansad Aadarsh Gram Yojana is a

MEGA JOB FAIR
(27-06-2018)
Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology
systematized a One day Job fair which was organized
by the Sub Regional Employment Exchange-
Government of Rajasthan at the RIET campuson
27th June 2018. This witnessed the
participation of more than 3000 candidates and more
than 49 reputed companies visited the campus to
recruit the students.
The day started with the inaugural ceremony which
was graced by Honorable Chief Guest, Sh.

The process of recruitment varied from industry to
industry; some of the industry representatives
followed all their process like written test, (Aptitude
Test), Group Discussion, Personal Interviews etc.
Speaking on the occasion Principal RIET Dr Saroj
Hiranwal, said that employment is the main focus for
any country, society, college, particularly engineering
college.
Just to give the best education or training
to the students is not enough. The system
has
to provide platform to the students to
implement & explore their skill in
professional field also.
