organized in Raj Rajeshwari College of Education on 16th February 2017, Asst. Prof Mrs. Sunita Gautam explained the importance of examination in teaching learning process. Examinations helps the teachers to evaluate students on the basis of their interests, and abilities. Examination develops the self confidence among students as they can evaluate themselves and get motivation. Examination develops the memory power of students. Examination also has demerits as students got feared and have a mental stress before exam due to irrelevant questions in question paper. Also cheating type drawbacks affect the examination system. After discussing merits and demerits of examination she discussed the suggestion for good examination system as to think positive, prepare proper notes to reach at time in examination hall etc. Examination is a markable process and it develops the creative power of students. At last Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman appreciated the valuable information given by Mrs. Sunita Dutta.

Celebration of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan-cum-International Women Day‘Swatch Bharat Abhiyan’ was celebrated on occasion of ‘International Women

Day’ by organizing a camp under Jan Chetna Club of Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, bhota on 08th March 2017 in Village Ujhan of Morsu Panchayat. On this occasion pupil teachers of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. performed a skit on ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and awared the people about cleanliness which is most important part of our life. Besides this Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman explained how we can empower a women by educating her so that she will be aware about her rights. At the end pupil teacher participated in cleanliness and neatness programme.

Rangoli Competition

On the occasion of Holi, a house wise Rangoli Competition was organized on 10 th

March 2017 at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur (H.P.)-176041. Pupil Teachers of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. participated in competition in which 1st position was bagged by Chinab House. President of Raj Rajeshwari Education Society Smt. Arvinder Kaur Rani wished Holi to all and praised the students for their creative performance. Coordinator Smt. Sunita Gautam and college staff were present on this occasion.

Annual Sports MeetTwo day annual sports meet was organized in Raj Rajeshwari College of

Education, Bhota on 20th March 2017 to 21st March 2017. Chairman of Raj Rajeshwari Education Society Sh. Manjit Singh inaugurated the programme. Different types of outdoor and fun games were organized on this occasion and pupil teachers participated in different activities. Chairman of the college management committee Sh. Manjit Singh, President Smt. Arvinder Kaur Rani, Secretary Sh. Kulbir Singh Thakur, Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman and college staff were present on this occasion.

State Level Volley Ball CompetitionOne day state level inter college volley ball competition was organized by S.V.N.

College of Education, Tarkwari on 24th March 2017 in which Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota bagged 02nd position. Chairman Sh. Manjit Singh and Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman congratulated Physical Instructor Sh. gulshan Thakur for the better performance of pupil teachers, Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman thanked the Principal of SVN PG College of Education Dr. Kuldeep Chandel for organizing this competition. College management committee gave refreshment to students and motivated students to participate in such type of activities.

Educational Tour

Three days educational tour was organized in Raj Rajeshwari College of Education from 01st April, 2017 to 03rd April, 2017 in which Science City Kapurthala remains the main destination. Pupil teachers collected different important informations related to Science. On 02nd April 2017 the famous Golden Temple Amritsar, Jalianwala Baag, Bagha Border remains main centre of tour. Pupil teachers know the importance and history of Jalianwala Bagh and the massacre that happened on 13 th April 1919 at that place. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman, Coordinator Smt. Sunita Datta, Gulshan Thakur, Sh. Manoj Kumar, Smt. Sonika Sharma, Smt. Poonam Devi were present in educational tour with pupil teachers.

Social Service Camp

A Social Service camp under Jan Chetna Club of Raj Rajeshwari College of Education Bhota was organized in village Dain of Sour Panchayat on 08 th April 2017. The main motive was to aware the people about cleanliness and neatness. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman & college staff were present in this programme. Former Gram Pradhan Sh. Rajender Thakur were chief guest on this occasion. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman shared the information about cleanliness with people. Pupil teachers

performed a skit on ‘ Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and participated in cleanliness programme.

Guest Talk on Special Education and Role of Legislation in the field of Special Education

A guest talk on special education was organized by Raj Rajeshwari College of Education on 13th April 2017. Mr. Yashvinder Kapil, Assistant Professor explained the special educator and role of legislation in the field of special education. Govt. of India gave a new name to special child as “Divyang’. She told us about mental retardation and how one can solve this problem through Inclusive Education, Govt. educating the special children with normal students so that special children also get education like normal children. P.W.D. Act of 1995 is a Govt. act for their rights which aware the special children for their rights. Besides that Govt. provided different types of tools for their convenience according to their needs. At the end of programme Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman honoured Mr. Yashvinder Singh with guest of honour.

Faculty Extension Lecture on Health and HygieneAn extension lecture on Health and Hygiene was organized in Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 29th April 2017 by Mrs. Asha Devi (Asst. Prof. in Edu.). She explained that a healthy spirit is in healthy mind. A healthy mind always has healthy thoughts. Healthy food, water and good habits are essential parts of human being. Physical Hygiene is most important for us to prevent our self from diseases. Beside physical hygiene, mental hygiene is also important. So, we should always take a balance diet. She also explained the deficient disease which occurs due to deficiency of nutrients. We should improve our immune system & for this a regular exercise is most important. At the end of lecture Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman thanked Mrs. Asha Thakur.

Extension Lecture on Achievements of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul KalamAn extension lecture on achievements of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was organized in

Raj Rajeshwari College of Education on 31st May 2017. Faculty member Mrs. Poonam Kumari explained the life achievements of former President Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam. Kalam was a great personality of Indian history. Relating to a poor family he fulfill his aim as Aerospace Engineer. Dr. Kalam was a scientist, Engineer, Professor, Writer and also President in DRDO achievements are result of Dr. Kalam. Mrs. Poonam shared a valuable information about Dr. Kalam , about books written by him like Wings of Fire, India 2020 etc. Being president of India he had a little property. World students day is celebrated every year on 15th October on birth anniversary of Dr. Kalam. She said that NASA has discovered a Bacteria named as Kalami Bacteria ‘Selivacilus Kalami’ Dr. Kalam was great personality not in India but also in world.

Faculty Extension Lecture on Kashmir Conflict

An extension lecture on ‘Kashmir Conflicts’ was organized in Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 30th June 2017. Lecturer in Education Mrs. Manjesh Kumari explained briefly the Kashmir history and main reasons of conflict between India and Pakistan. Kashmir which is the main point of conflict is just like heaven on earth and it is divided into there Parts i.e. POK (Pakistan Occupied Kashimir), IOK (Indian Occupied Kashmir) and Aksai Chin which is 8% of total boundary of Kashmir. About 90% population in this region is Muslim SO, Muslim community wants to join Pakistan. Besides this many other reasons were explained which are the points of conflict. At the end Principal of college Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman thanked Mrs. Manjesh Kumari and also said that this is a major problem which may not have any solution in future.
