KEY FINDINGS

1) Raising Children Methods Used in Vietnam• 98% choose the method of respecting the opinion of their children in education

• Website about mother and baby (51%), Books (38%), Word of mouth (28%) are top 3 channels

for updating teaching children method

• 85% considered that only use a whip if there is a serious fault

• Play with children (47%) and Let children play alone but watching them (41%) are top 2 ways to

look after their children

• 69% will accept children’s 3rd gender and let them grow naturally if discovery

2) The educational investment on children in Vietnam• 30% ~ 50% is the average percentage of cost for child education

• Surprisingly, 47% do not orientate future career for their children

• 100% parents allow children join the other courses besides studying at school

• Watch the way children play (41%) is the best way to track the children’s intelligence

• 89% considered children’s outstanding intelligence will maybe change after 18 years old

3) The control of children hobbies• 91% will let children read comic books with the content control

• 94% will let children watch TV with the content control

• 81% will let children use smartphones/ tablets with the content control

• 38% have the conflict with other family members in the way to teach their children
