Sh. Ashwani Kumar Chairperson & Managing Director Dena Bank, Dena Corporate Centre C-10, G Block, Bandra-Kurla Complex Bandra [E]. Mumbai- 400 051 Subject: Seeding of Aadhaar No. in Pensioners’ Bank Accounts

The Jeevan Pramaan Scheme launched by the Government of India enabling submission of Digital Life Certificates online has been appreciated by our members. The Scheme is of immense benefit to pensioners who are unable to visit the often distantly situated bank on account of old age, infirmity or illness every year to prove that they are alive. In order to facilitate their difficult task, the Government of India has introduced the immensely beneficial scheme of Digital Life Certificate mentioned above on a voluntary basis which involves the Pensioner’s Aadhaar number to be seeded into the pension account held by the concerned Bank. For this, we as Pensioners Association are mobilizing our member pensioners to approach the PDA Bank on voluntary basis and the pensioners are keen to take advantage of this facility. 2. Therefore, Sir, to enable the large number of our fellow pensioners to avail the benefit of the scheme we request you to please help us in reaching out to all pensioners by letter/phone and other mass medias as well as individual communication. This is being suggested since the bank have the contact / phone / mail details, including mobile numbers, of most of the pensioners and it would be easy for the banks to connect with the largest number of pensioners in the shortest possible time. 3. We need this facility in the shortest time and request you to expedite action for quick result in a mission / campaign mode. We look forward to your co-operation,

Yours sincerely,

(Harchandan Singh)

Sh. Pratip Chaudhuri Chairman State Bank of India State Bank Bhavan, Central Office, 8th Floor, Madame Cama Marg, Mumbai Maharashtra -400021 Subject: Seeding of Aadhaar No. in Pensioners’ Bank Accounts
