INTRODUCTION

The Railway Food System in our country is not upto the standards of the travelers. The travelers didn’t not get the hygienic or healthy food they get at home. There are various railway stalls and restaurants available on major railway stations and the travelers can have their food there.

  But as there are millions of travelers travelling every day in our

country and we know that Indian Railway system is one of the biggest system in the world with more than 30000kms and 1500 major and small railway stations. So it is very difficult to manage the food quality.

So this is where our proposed system comes into action.

URGE 2 EAT is the kind of Online Railway food Reservation System which provide the travelers the taste of homemade food and maintain hygiene of the travelers.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

The Problem Statement is defined as● Urge2eat is a E-commerce website made in an attempt to

provide travelers hygenic food throughout the journey.

● It is difficult to get hygienic FOOD in INDIAN trains, Urge2eat offers hygienic at your footsteps by online food reservation.

● It is a good way of ordering food while sitting in the train without any difficulty.

that allow travelers to Order hygenic and the food they like to eat while they are travelling in trains.

We have used asp.net SQL data server CSS Hyperlinks JavaScript XML

The activity of the system is very simple as we can see. The Customer places his/her order by filling up the necessary

details. The customer can choose his desired food which he likes as we

have all the special food available 24x7. The Customer doesn’t need to worry about the payment as he

can pay the amount on delivery (COD). The Customer has to just sit on this seat and the food will arrive

to him as he is sitting at home on the dinning table waiting for the food to be served.

The Customer have choice of filling the feedback form which we can use for future improvements.

APPLICATIONS

There are advantages for both the traveler and for the Authority who participate in online ordering. First, a Traveler can order at will when they have time to. Also, the traveler is able to customize their order the way they like it without errors in communication between him and the person taking the order.

  In addition to traveler advantages, the Authority is able to

take more orders with less staff.

The Authority does not need a waiter or hostess to be on the phone to take the order. The order can go straight to the kitchen. From there to the traveler when he/she reaches the delivery station. The food will be served on the berth of the traveler.

CONCLUSION

With this project we have made online food reservation very easy and user friendly. There is traffic maintenance and easy access to the website. The Traveler need not to run to stations for food packages instead sit relaxed and have their food served on their seat.
