Coding is cool because?

• You can influence the design • It’s fun to figure out how to do something new

and make it work! Problem solving skills!• It’s acceptable to listen to music with

headphones on and drink lots of coffee• Necessary skills nowadays in design, you

should at least understand basics and possibilities of coding

Survival skills neededas a designer

• Ruby on rails / textedit / Dreamweaver etc. - any coding program

• Html(5)/CSS(3) knowledge and anything on top of that is a plus

• Some ‘Sisu’, enthusiasm and Google search
