Tourism

The Fort of Raichur, a unique fort known for its construction with huge blocks of well-dressed and nicely fitted stones without the aid of any cementing material.

Naradagadde, an attractive island in the Krishna River, as per the legend this is the island where the holy Guru Sri Narada Maharishi had got consecrated while worshipping Narayana.

Ekminar Mosque ,built during the time of Mohammed Bahami, is considered as a very holy place for the Muslims.

Saraswati Mutt, famous complex of Navalinga is dedicated to Lord Siva.

Manvi – it is known for memorial of Jagannaha Dasaru, who has written in Kannada (Dasa Sahitya)

Gandhal – known for Panchamukhi Prana Devaru (Hanuman with five heads) on a hillock, where Sri Raghavendra Swami of Mantralaya did his meditation.
