Take a rubber band and wrap it around the fabric folded over the fabric.

Add arms

Split the bottom into two sections and placed rolled fabric underneath. Fold two sections back together sandwiching the arms. Rubber band the folded section into place.

Cut hole for head and arms

Fold fabric into half and then cut three small holes at the folded section; one for the head and two for the arms.

Ever wanted to make a rag doll with all your left over scraps of cloth or old clothing?

Well this guide is for you. Recently, I was at the Michigan Art Education Fall Conference and attended this great session on making rag dolls without any sewing.

The steps are easy and the results are fun! First you will need to collect any old scraps of cloth, or if you feel the need; purchase new fabric for your doll.
