I owe a debt of gratitude to the Rady community; conversations with career advisors, second-year students, and industry professionals that I met on Rady-organized career treks helped me realize that I need to grasp every opportunity to get out of my comfort zone. In my summer internship, I used skills developed in first year coursework to perform extensive analysis on every data project I handled. My colleagues appreciated the level of rigor I applied to my job.

Our students, faculty and alumni are making an ever increasing impact on the innovation economy through new startups, significant funding deals, and the development of innovative products and services within established companies. We remain committed to developing entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs who will be at the forefront of the evolving business climate.

The knowledge I gained during the first year of the MBA program laid a great foundation to help me succeed in a challenging and rewarding summer internship. The core classes shaped and changed my way of thinking and problem-solving in a manner that I could immediately and directly apply to my internship and deliver real business value to the company.
