Interoperability

County – Wide Talkgroup

- CO-WIDE (#14 on your selector knob) is a Talk Group Monitored

24/7 by the following agencies:

The Co-Wide Talkgroup is used to communicate directly with other Agencies during pursuits and other exigent situations. Deputies and Officers are also encouraged to contact other agencies directly. Example, you come upon and accident in downtown Tampa and need Police and Fire, you can contact them directly on Co-Wide. Refer to Handout “ Operational Usage by Field Units”

All Public Safety Agencies in Hillsborough County have the Intra County Talk Groups in their Radios. Intra County Talk Groups are utilized for long term mutual operations and special events such as Gasparilla or events worked at the Stadium. Talkgroups 13-16 are Digital and cannot be monitored by police scanners.
