Radioactive Waste Made Simple

Liquid Radiation Waste Containers
Examples : one and five gallon containers.
Please fill out label before pick-up (waste will not be picked up if label is missing information).
No solid waste, no scintillation vials.
Separate by isotope half life.
Separate aqueous and organic.
Solid Radiation Waste
Only solid waste. No liquids including scintillation vials of any kind.
Separate by isotope and by half life.
No sharps. Please fill out label
before pick-up. Do not overfill.
Scintillation Vials: Trash Cans and Zip Lock bags
Separate by isotope and half life.
Only scintillation vials. No solid waste
Please close vial lid tight.
Fill out label before pick up.
Glass and plastic scintillation vials can go into the same container.
