Tone of voice?An assertive tone of voice is used. It is quite serious relating to the serious issue being addressed.
Sound effects?(SFX)Upbeat Music throughout with a fading echo of the word phenomenon to give it a dramatic effect. This is also used at the end when saying the name of the documentary Facebook the next generation.
Wildtrack/ambient sound? There is no ambient sound however when the expert speaks it sound muffled.
Use of music?
There is use of an upbeat soundtrack. The level of sound from this is just right as it is not overbearing the voice over.
How many tracks?There is one soundtrack used throughout.
Sound levels?The sound level is the same throughout the music and the voice over however when the expert speaks the sound goes quite and muffled therefore it is hard to understand.
Length?The radio trailer is 42 seconds long however the voiceover including the expert lasts for 36 seconds.
Other notes/common elements/conventionsIt starts with some information about the topic including a statistic and a rhetorical question for the audience. One extract from the documentary is included which is an expert who is introduced by the narrator. They address the general public. The date time and channel is included at the end.
