KFC Dark Meat Menu Radio Spot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRODqCQqBjw

The advert relies heavily on comedy to advertise its products to the consumer. The advert is presented in the form of a scary story about people who go to KFC to get some food and are shocked by the low prices of the new dark meat menu. The main point the advert is trying to emphasise is the extremely low prices, which are repeatedly mentioned. This engrains this knowledge into the listeners memory, meaning thy are more likely to choose KFC to get food because its prices are so low (have you ever seen chicken priced this low?). The advert also makes use of a narrative voice over, which is used to progress the story and tell the listener what meat is available. The advert also uses a lot of dramatic and silly music, which it sound more interesting and memorable.

Coca-Cola Summer Sound Radio Adwww.youtube.com/watch?v=pDj8QYigFnw

The advert tries to sell coca cola to the listener by implying that it is perfect for every summer location. The advert begins with a male narrative voice talking to his thirst and playing numerous sounds that make the listener think of summer (such as the beach or parties) followed by the sound of someone opening a fridge and opening a bottle of Coke. The voice then tricks the coke and says youre so outta here!, implying that the fizzy beverage has quenched his thirst. This is followed by a electronic sounding Coca-Cola jingle before the voice says Coca-Cola: Open Happiness. The aim of the advert is to give Coke lots of positive connotations; this is done by implying that the drink is great and stopping thirst, playing happy sounding music and saying the line open happiness. This makes the drink sound like a very good product and will make listeners want to buy it even more.

Wonga.com Radio Adhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxdbu8b4ITk

This advert gets its message across by parodying the well-known song Mr Sandman. In the advert, female singers sing about wanting Mr Wonga to lend them loans and mention that he makes it easy when the month is too long. This is a light hearted way of advertising that also works well at conveying all the necessary information needed to know how to use the service (give me two choices when I go online/one how much I want and two for what length of time) Towards the end of the advert, another female voice can be heard over the singing telling the listener yet again to visit wonga.com for a short term loan that you can control. Using a pre-existing song is a good idea, as many people will already have heard it, making it easier for them to remember it.

Alton Towers Jobs Radio Adhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g86RPUZNbB0

The purpose of this advert seems to be to attract people into applying for a job at Alton Towers. The advert follows a male narrative voice explaining about why Alton Towers is the UKs leading theme park as he rides a roller coaster. He then goes on to explain that the biggest reason the theme park is so successful is the dedicated and hard working staff and says that they are looking for more. He then tells listeners to visit altontowersjobs.com if they think they can keep their head when everyone else is losing theirs. The advert uses a lot of sound effects such as the sound of children screaming and a roller coaster speeding around. The advert is clearly trying to make working at Alton Towers a fun and enjoyable experience in order to make listeners more likely to want to work there.
