We understand the demands on staff time involved in any busy work place, and that’s why wecome to your site to carry out our racking safety seminars for groups of around 4-6 people.The seminars consist of both ‘classroom’ based learning involvingpresentations and question and answer sessions with one of our SARI(SEMA Approved Racking Inspectors), and hands on instruction whereour racking expert tours your warehouse to examine your racking andhighlight real issues to watch out for that are specific to your business.

Seminar agenda

The course is divided into three sections - initial presentations and explanation ofnon-technical theory, the hands on tour of your warehouse and a follow up discussion. Thetopics covered teach your staff everything they need to ensure the safety and longevity ofyour racking system, including:

l Identifying key components of the system

l Recognising damage and assessing its severity

l How to report damage – what to do, when and how

l The importance of signage – for detailing load notices and other information

l How to prevent damage from occurring – operating advice and protection products

All that the host organisation needs to provide is a suitable meeting room with power socketsand if possible access to your actual pallet racking system.

The seminar only takes half a working day so if you want to train several individuals,why not book sessions both before and after lunch?
