Intended for sport, racing and track day use, our products fi ll the gap that occurs in standard carswhen they are used on the track. The objectives are to improve the rigidity of the chassis and suspension elements, the optimization of the suspension angles and set up in general.
Our philosophy is to concentrate individually on a particular type of vehicle and to develop a rangeof components. Subjected to tough tests on the track and on the road, our dynamic packages signifi cantly improve lap times and performances. Our products are designed in-house using the best technology and mechanical design software such as CAD and are tested with structural and kinematic FEM analysis. The production of the components is entirely MADE IN ITALY, made almost exclusively in house, with the help of some selected Italian suppliers and choosing the highest quality components only.

SUSPENSIONCOMPONENTSThis section is dedicated to the suspension and refers in particular to arms, rods and items related to them. The purpose of the suspension, in general, is to constrain the wheels to the frame and above all to make the wheels move according to a well-defi ned three-dimensional path.
The standard cars’ suspension arms are often very heavy and not much rigid. These weights make the vehicle less responsive and the deformation of the arms aff ects the driving precision. Normally, suspensions, are bounded to the frame with elastic elements such as silent blocks. They have the advantage of being very cheap and not to transfer any vibration or resonance to the body, improving comfort. Unfortunately, these elastic elements, generally made of rubber, have the major defect that deform when stressed. These deformations, in certain conditions, make the wheels not to move according to their defi ned path creating unwanted displacements of the wheels.
This situation is further amplifi ed in the moment in which they are working in a more rigid suspension set up and / or the power of the engine is increased. Especially during hard acceleration the car starts to go left and right, during braking the wheel tends to recede again creating directional instability. During a turn the tire fails to keep the “right angles” compromising the performances and steering precision.
For all these reasons, it is appropriate to replace these elastic rubber (silent block) with elements typically made of polyurethane, a material with superior stiff ness. With this measure, the situation is improving but we are far from the results obtained on the cars derived from ‘motorsport’. The latter in fact use elements called uniball, also known as ball joints. The uniball fail to cancel 100% the deformations generated by the silent block thus ensuring the desired motion to the wheel. They are also much more robust so much so that they are used on vehicles for rally and track racing.
All our suspension kits are characterized by the fact that they use exclusively motorsport-derived uniball, that have been developed for track day, road and racing applications and are therefore designed to improve the stiff ness and strength, decreasing the weight of the masses on the ground and eliminating unwanted movement of the wheel, caused by the excessive elasticity of the original silent blocks. The kits also include a brand new protection system against dirt uniball which prevents the integrity of the uniball. In this way the arms are maintenance free and ideal for street use.

TORSIONBARSThe suspensions should carry out diff erent jobs and they must do them in diff erent conditions: they have to damp holes and bumps, to get the best performance during cornering and to keep the vehicle stable under braking and acceleration conditions.It is often very diffi cult to get good performance in a turn having a soft springs set up; at the same time, a too hard set up will make the vehicle ungovernable in holes or bumps.
The result is often a compromise. Generally on a track we tend to have a fairly stiff set up but still able to absorb the bumps of the ground. Unfortunately, these set ups, during cornering, are not suffi ciently rigid for optimal performances and will generate an high cornering rolling, putting stress on the tires and creating unwanted suspension angles.For these reasons the sway bars have been introduced. Tying the two suspensions together with the chassis, they tend to keep the vehicle “fl at” during cornering, without interfering in case of a bump or disconnection.
The torsion bars are also used to change the behaviour of the vehicle: stiff ening bars the vehicle will become more oversteer, softening them it will become more understeering. The same goes for the forehand but backwards.
Road vehicles are designed to be safe and therefore the suspension set up tends to be often much understeering. This trend, which is useful for the average user, becomes a problem on the track where you need a quick turn-in and a very responsive and fast vehicle. On the other side, too much oversteer generates problems of instability and makes the vehicle diffi cult to drive.
Our torsion bar kits are designed to reduce the problems of understeering and are adjustable so the user can fi nd the right balance of oversteer depending on the type of the circuit and / or his driving style ant actual suspension set up.

CAMBER ANDTOP MOUNT KITCamber is the measure of the angle between the vertical and the central plane of the wheel, observing the vehicle in front and having the two wheels in straight-ahead position. If the wheels have the top inclined outward camber is said positive, inward instead is called negative. The change of this angle varies the position of the wheel relative to the contact plane (road surface) so that, during a load transfer (for example in the presence of lateral acceleration during cornering), the inclination of the vehicle ports the contact plane of the wheel itself to be as parallel as possible to the road. In this way the tire off ers maximumsupport surface, therefore, the maximum adhesion.
The camber angle must be optimised in relation to the magnitude of the lateral acceleration during a bend; high curves require very high camber angles, close to 2-3 degrees, while for the low ones (i.e. low grip conditions) is better to decrease them. Standard vehicles often do not allow camber adjustment, and during high speeding, they reveal all their limitations in terms of maximum lateral acceleration and grip, infl uencing speed cornering, often causing unwanted tire wears along the outer bands.
Our top mount systems are mounted on Mac Pherson systems that you will fi nd on almost all vehicles of low and medium range. Our top mount systems replace the original ones and are characterized by the fact that allow camber adjustment. They also replace the fragile rubber silent block with elements called uniball (spherical ball joints). These elements will provide a more support for the damper and zero play and they will signifi cantly improve the behaviour of the suspension and of steering system.
Our camber plates, instead, are mounted at the rear, with the aim to increase the camber angle in the suspensive systems of “torsion beam” type and in particular they are interposed between the wheel hub and the axle. In other types of rear suspension, like multi-link type, we replace the links (or arms) with adjustable-type ones (see Suspension components section), mounted on uniball instead of the standard silent block. These spherical joints allow a better control of the suspension due to zero play. The result is an handling and performance improvement in general.

STRUT ANDSTIFFENINGBARSOne of the objectives in the design of a sports vehicle is to maintain the maximum surface area of contact between the tire and the road, i.e. the maximum “footprint”.Eff orts are therefore aimed at designing a suitable suspension system, whose kinematic and dynamic characteristics are such as to maintain the maximum ‘”footprint” in all conditions, braking, cornering, acceleration and load transfer.
The chassis, for its part, being the element that connects the two front and rear axles must be extremely rigid. A chassis with low stiff ness, fl exing or twisting, would frustrate any attempt of the designer to have an effi cient suspension system.
Standard cars are the result of compromises dictated by mass product ion, costs, the need to obtain the maximum comfort, etc.. All these parameters, often together with the standard cars connotation that is not strictly born as a performance car, make the standard chassis not very rigid.
Through the application of additional elements such as strut bars, tie rods, and complete “ roll cages”, it is possible to signifi cantly increase the stiff ness of the chassis. From the point of view of driving the results are easily perceptible: more speed in cornering as well as improvement of driving and steering system precision. The frame stiff ening bars are in fact much used in any form of motorsport and track day or sports applications.

HYDRAULICHAND BRAKEChanging the mechanical hand brake control (present as standard on all cars) with an hydraulic type one consists in the addition of a lever / pump assembly into the main brake system or the creation of an independent system. The hydraulic hand brake allows a much more powerful and adaptable braking as it uses the rear calliper main system instead of the standard mechanical system.
Therefore, these systems are used on all those race cars that need to manage the rear train’s braking with the utmost precision and power as rally, drifting, climbing, slalom cars, etc..
Our kits include a 280 mm brake lever to 0 °, 45 ° or 90 ° with a high grip sponge handle, the box for housing the lever prepared for attachment of one or two pumps and all the components necessary for assembly.
