For a student to be eligible to enroll into our Industry program they have to demonstrate strong design skills and a high degree of creative maturity. This is because the course is delivered by some of Australia’s leading creatives and the standard of work they (and Tractor) expect is high. The course is also incredibly intensive and requires an extraordinary level of commitment both in terms of creativity and time. Although Rachel’s background prior to joining our program was in the textile/fashion industry, her enthusiasm to want to develop her (graphic) design skills was clear to us from the start. During her studies she demonstrated a really strong work ethic and strong design and design thinking skills. She was a valued and constructive part of her group and showed a particular strength in being able to generate good ideas and an admirable ability to keep developing her ideas as part of her creative process. There’s no question in my mind that Rachel has a long and successful career ahead of her and I wish her all the success she wishes for herself. I offer this reference without qualification and please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of any further help. Yours sincerely Simon Pemberton National Head of School
