Welcome! Dear Racer: Thank you for your interest and registration for the inaugural Starkey Ranch 5K in one of the top master-planned communities in North America! You are in store for a great race and a fun, family-friendly event in our community. It’s our goal that the information contained within this packet will give you everything you need to know about the course, parking and on-site check-in. You should also know that proceeds from our 5K are benefiting some great charities here in the Tampa Bay area:

• Odessa Elementary School: donations will be made to help replace old, outdated textbooks in classrooms throughout the school. This is an ongoing project that the school’s administration has sought help with.

• Seven Springs Rotary Club: this volunteer service organization assists in various community events, as well as charity fundraisers throughout the community.

As you will see on race day, Starkey Ranch is a vibrant, park-filled community where life is taking root in fresh, new ways. Featuring a full-service parks and recreation department, 800 acres of leisure space, 20 miles of trails and countless ways to create lasting memories, we hope you’ll visit our Welcome Center and learn more about our award-winning community. If you have any questions along the way, please feel free to reach out via email at [email protected] or by calling the Welcome Center at 813-925-9777. Thanks! Mathew Eberius, CPRP Director of Parks & Recreation
