Sami Steigmann is a public speaker and educator who has a mission to increase peace and tolerance in the world. During his earliest years of life as a prisoner of the Holocaust, Sami was a child of medical experiments, yet miraculously, he survived. Although he lives with physical pain and the memory of evil, he teaches people of all ages how to confront personal challenges and social problems like bigotry, racism, and antisemitism in a positive way

In the 1970s, Eliot Lasky was a high flying rock n’ roll promoter, traveling the country with famous bands like the Rolling Stones.

But a question that cut to the core of his identity led him to a sidewalk in Brooklyn where he met the Rebbe and his life was changed forever.

Join us for Shabbat morning services every Saturday at 10 am. The traditional service is designed to guide you step by step and will make you feel comfortable regardless of previous exposure or background. It is open to all, and is user-friendly with Hebrew/English prayers, spiced with explanation and song. This, coupled with Jewish melodies and an easy to read prayer book, will make Shabbat prayer services an enjoyable and meaningful experience for you.

A kiddush follows Shabbat services. At the kiddush, we have a chance to say “L’chaim” sing Jewish songs, share stories, jokes, a Torah thought and have some good times with friends.
