The primary purposes of Stream are to provide: 1. An easy-to-use interface for Team Members, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to communicate progress on work, 2. Substantive updates to work assignments, and 3. End-users with greater control over daily activities. One important part of this shift to Stream is providing Project Managers the ability to communicate with their Team Members in an interface designed especically to meet everyones needs. The Team Member Home was built to simplify an end-user’s interaction with Project Managers, Team Members, and the Project and Portfolio Management side of @task. Stream introduces new concepts Project Managers need to understand. These include the practice of receiving creating tasks through Work Requests and Team Requests, and Negotiating Commit Dates. The Project Managers Reference Manual is designed to provide specic instructions on how to accomplish these and other typical Project Manager activities using Stream.
