Session Objectives
This session is meant to give new “R” Reports users a more in-depth understanding of the Demand Management and Sales & Inventory Reports including expectations for usage.
Goal 1: Provide new “R” Reports Users a baseline understanding of each report and the metrics.
Goal 2: Provide more advanced Users a forum to ask questions about the reports.
Note: Questions should be entered in the Questions Pane at the bottom of your screen. Questions will be collected and responses provided to the group following the session.

Item Plan Summary
• What is it?– The Item Plan Summary is a Demand Management report
providing sales forecasts up to 26 weeks forward of the current fiscal week.
• How often is it updated?– The Item Plan Summary is updated Weekly on Sunday
evening and made available to “R” Reports Users on Monday afternoon.
• Where is it located?– The Demand Management folder.
• Can it be subscribed to?– Yes. The Item Plan Summary can be subscribed to for
automatic weekly updates.

• Prompts– Product Hierarchy | Department, Class, Subclass, Item– Resource | Resource Group
• Key Features– The Item Plan Summary is based of the Toys “R” Us CIP
workbook.
• Key Metrics (3)– SWP Sales Units – Projected Sales for each given fiscal week– SWP Receipt Units – Projected Receipts for each given fiscal
week– Total Open Order Units – Actual number of units on Purchase
Orders for each given fiscal week

• Expectations– Vendors will review report on a Weekly basis for updates– Toys “R” Us expects 100% fulfillment of its Purchase Orders– Vendors will work in collaboration with P&A to ensure the
appropriate amount of supply is available for fulfillment

WTD Sales & Inventory Report
• What is it?– The WTD Sales & Inventory Report provides key week-to-date
sales and inventory metrics by item, in units and $, to assist in understanding inventory position and impact on performance within the current fiscal week.
• How often is it updated?– The WTD Sales & Inventory Report is updated overnight on a
Daily basis with the data being made available to Users the next morning. Note – On Mondays data cannot be accessed until 12pm.
• Where is it located?– The Sales & Inventory folder.
• Can it be subscribed to?– Yes. The WTD Sales & Inventory Report can be subscribed
to for automatic daily updates.

• Key Features– The WTD Sales & Inventory Report is the only report that
provides intra-week updates.

• Expectations– Primarily used during midweek new item releases (i.e. video
games, DVDs, etc.) and heavy volume weeks during Season

inventory metrics by item, in units and $, to assist in understanding inventory position and impact on performance for the selected period.
• How often is it updated?– The Item Performance Report is updated Weekly on Sunday
evening and made available to “R” Reports Users on Monday afternoon.
• Where is it located?– The Sales & Inventory folder.
• Can it be subscribed to?– Technically, yes. However, if subscribed to this particular
report will continue providing the same data week-after-week because the time period is static.

– The Item Performance by Location Report provides key sales and inventory metrics by item, in units and $, to assist in understanding inventory position and impact on performance for the selected period. This report yields additional information by allowing the user to choose from up to six metrics and drill down to the area and store levels for analysis.
• How often is it updated?– The Item Performance by Location Report is updated Weekly
on Sunday evening and made available to “R” Reports Users on Monday afternoon.
• Where is it located?– The Sales & Inventory folder.
• Can it be subscribed to?– Technically, yes. However, if subscribed to this particular
report will continue providing the same data week-after-week because the time period is static.

from a suite of metrics and drill down to the Area or Store level. This report does not, however, allow for year-over-year comparisons. Only data for the selected week can be reviewed.
