*Length of roller base is determined by the preassembled parts. For instance, the Delrin spacer found on the end of the roller frame, as indicated above, differentiates the two roller bases between long and short axles. Please keep this in mind when completing step one in the assembly guide.

DIY Tire Jack & Trolley Assembly Instructions

Step 1- Start by inserting the axle of the Roller Base (Long Axle) into the bottom hole of Arm 1. Make sure that the counter bores are facing the roller base. Fasten the arm to the axle as shown in Figure 1. The hardware in Figure 1 is already pre-assembled to the axle and will not be found in the Hardware Bag. Use both supplied Allen Keys to fasten the M6 Bolt (20) on both ends of the axle.

Step 2- Insert the axle of the Roller Base (Short Axle) into the bottom hole of Arm 3; similar to Step 1. Ensure that the counter bore at the top of Arm 3 is facing the roller base. Now, insert the Shoulder Bolt – 15mm (8) through the counter bore on Arm 3. Place a Plastic Washer (10) on the bolt and then further insert the bolt through the hole on Arm 1 as shown in Figure 2. Fasten the end of the bolt with a Plastic Washer (10) followed by an M8 Locking Nut (2). Use an Allen Key and Wrench to tighten the nut and bolt.

Notes: In order to effectively secure the cam lever, simply use one hand to steady the cam lever while tightening the plastic knob with the other hand. Ideally, you want to tighten the plastic knob until the cam lever is positioned firmly at around a 45⁰ angle. Then, push the cam lever towards Arm 3 to lock the arms into the desired position.

Step 3- Line up the hole on Arm 4 with the hole on Arm 1 as shown in Figure 3. Ensure the counter bore is facing the roller bases, just like the other counter bores. Fasten the two arms with the Shoulder Bolt-27mm (7), and use the Plastic Washers (10), Delrin Spacer (9) and M8 Locking Nut (2) as per the image in Figure 4. Insert the threaded portion of the Cam Lever (15) through the middle hole on Arm 3 and into the slot on Arm 4. A Plastic Washer (10) goes on the threaded shaft between Arm 3 and Arm 4. Once the Cam Lever is through Arms 3 and 4, place the M8 Flat Washer - Large (14) followed by the Plastic Knob (13) on the threaded shaft of the Cam Lever. Tighten the Plastic Knob and clamp the Cam Lever to secure the arms.

Step 4- Line up the two counter bore holes on Arm 1 with the holes on the Arm Spacer (11) and on Arm 2. Insert both of the Shoulder Bolts - 40mm (6) through the holes and fasten the other side of the bolts with the M8 Flat Washers – Small (3), M8 Lock Washers (4) and M8 Acorn Nuts (5) as shown in Figure 5. Ensure the Jack and Jill of All Tires logo is facing outward. Place the Carriage Bolt (1) into the square hole of Arm 2, and thread the Plastic Handle (12) onto the Carriage Bolt as snug as you can by hand. Do not over tighten to the point where you would cause yourself injury.
