We use aluminium head boxes, side channels and stainless steel guide wires to ensure the longevity of our exterior products when they are exposed to the elements. We use galvanised roller tubes for its superior lateral strength and

lack of deflection. We only use the best fabrics available including Everview, Mode Outlook, Dickson Orchestra, Dickson Orchestra Max (which is both waterproof and self cleaning) and Soltis.

Naturally we are here to assist you to sell these products and guide your clients to cost effective and energy efficient solutions. Alternative fabrics available POA.

We have on staff specialists to assist you with advice for even the hardest of installations. For designers, decorators and architects we can supervise and carry out the installation process.

In our research, one of the first things we learnt was that energy efficiency starts on the exterior of the window.

All our awning skins are made in our Homebush factory using the very latest welding technology rather than sewing the skins together which tends to deteriorate over time. Our acrylic awning fabrics are all hemmed to ensure they

live up to our 5 yr warranty. Naturally our motors are usually Somfy and once again, 5 yr warranty is offered on all motors.

MANUAL CRANK CONTROL This system relies on a smooth

cranking mechanism rather than

strength to operate the awning.

The crank handle is available in a

range of colours including White,

Grey & Black. Standard crank lengths

are 800mm, 1200mm, 1600mm,

2000mm & 2400mm. Beyond this

length we recommend motorisation.

HOLD DOWN STRAP Hold down straps can be used to hold the

awning base bar at regular intervals across its

width. This option also provides a traditional

no-guide system where the awning bottom rail

is simply locked into place via straps. Similar to

locking bolts, the hold down clips also insert into

the base bar for improved appearance.

WEIGHT BAR This base bar is ideal for use with

smaller awnings. The additional

weight reduces bounce-back and

increases fabric tension.

OPEN HEADBOX Our open head box system is ideally

suited for use with PVC fabrics and

our Pivot Arm System. It is also ideal

for front rolled Cable Guide & Straight

Drop awnings.

CLOSED HEADBOX Encapsulates the fabrics from

external elements such as rain,

UV & debris.

This assists in keeping the fabric

clean and enhances longevity.

LOCKING BOLT Our locking bolt system secures the

base bar into either the universal

floor mounting bracket OR breeching

staple. Great for keeping tension on

the blind when down and locked into

the stainless steel wall or floor mount

bracket.

MOTORISATION Control at the touch of a button.

The Solare Teknica range can be

used with the latest Automatic

Tensioning Motors which allows

awnings to be locked in position

with a strap or sliding bolt, then

tensioned. This constant fabric

tension minimises fabric blowouts

caused by unexpected high wind.

SOLARE TEKNICA 4000 SIDE CHANNEL The 4000 system eliminates light gaps &

provides total privacy.

Complete with head box, side channels &

brush inserts, the 4000 base bar can be

stopped / locked-off where desired.

The brush inserts which run the full height

of both side channels, help secure the fabric,

minimise the ingress of dust and reduce

operational noise.

Sliding Bolt Security adds peace of mind.

Our sliding bolt system allows the base bar

to be locked-off at set intervals. The bolts

slides into the side channel locking the base

bar whilst keeping the fabric under tension.

ORDERS Only written orders can be accepted. To fast-track the processing of your order and to minimise errors, please use the order form at the back of the pricelist. Once a written order is received, it is considered official.

GST 10% gst is included in this price book.

DISCOUNT POLICY We offer a trade discount to bona fide retailers, decorators, designers and architects. As a manufacturer and supplier to trade clients, we do not offer a “free measure and quote” service to the public, preferring to recommend them

to our wholesale clients who provide that service. We can only provide quotes on specific products.

DELIVERY We deliver all over Australia.

Straight drop blinds $ 60.00 for the first blind then $ 30.00 per additional blind.

Folding arm awnings $ 100.00 for the first awning then $ 50.00 per additional awning.

Some remote regions will require a surcharge.

Freight will be charged on repairs.

CREDIT For trade clients goods will be invoiced pro-forma until a 30 day account is established. 30 day accounts are subject to credit approval. Credit will be suspended on accounts in excess of 45 days. For non account customers all

goods must be paid for before goods leave our factory. All goods remain the property of Blinds by Peter Meyer until full payment is received. We accept Visa, Mastercard & Amex for payment of current accounts. Amex will incur

a 3% surcharge. Overdue accounts paid by credit card will attract a 2% bank charge.

PROMPT PAYMENT Prompt payment discount is only available to authorised 30 day account holders whose accounts are fully paid and up to date and is 3.0% for payment within 7 days of invoice date. Credit card payments are accepted but prompt

payment discount is 2% if credit card is used.

WARRANTY Fabrics, workmanship and hardware are covered for five years from the date of invoice. Warranty does not cover the cost of removal, electrical connection and reconnection, re-installation or despatch.

Our warranty specifically excludes:

1) Wind damage, storm, rain or hail damage and damage attributable to faulty installation or incorrect adjustment. Also excluded is accidental damage.

2) Normal wear and tear, ocean salt spray or chemical or atmospheric conditions. ie natural pollution left to sit on the product for extended lengths of time.

3) Damage attributable to any specific cause such as incorrect use of the product or abuse.

4) Consumable items such as tape drive on conservatory systems.

5) Water damage to electrical connections and damage due to alteration of electrical settings whatever the cause.

The most common cause of damage to Teknica screens and awnings is wind. We strongly recommend the fitting of wind sensors to motorised blinds. Manual awnings should not be left extended when property is not occupied. Our

products are designed to screen sun, not wind.

We will not warranty installations unless they are carried out by our staff installer, an approved installer or a licensed builder. Dye lots, powdercoat and fabric specifications can vary.

MEASURE & FIT Blinds by Peter Meyer provide a measure and installation service for the trade in most metropolitan areas. Prices below are for Sydney metro. All other areas are POA.
