Overview To improve tajweed of Quran one needs

to understand I’raab Makaharij


I’raab The word comes from Arbi.That is because

arabic language is the only language with I’raab.

Four I’raabs Fathah a.k.a Zabar Kasrah a.k.a Zeer Dumma a.k.a Pesh Sukoon or Sakina. Tashdeed Others (Madd etc)


Lesson taught by I’raab Sukoon hassil kerney kileye ,kabhi

Zabar nahi hona cahieye , hamesha zeer rehna caheiye kyunki aakharat mein pesh hona hai.


I’raab –Fathah Fathah means opening Opening of :Sound and mouth Fat-hah is pronounced by separating

the two jaws and opening the mouth.


I’raab –Kasrah Kasrah is pronounced by dropping the

lower jaw.

I’raab –Dumma Dhammah is pronounced by rounding

the two lips completely without letting them come into a complete contact.

Remember:Rolling unrolling for each dhammah


Sukoon Neutral. No I’rab. Details will be discussed later.
