Quito, April 22, 2014 – The catwalk debuted at Quito’s Mariscal Sucre Airport with an elegant and provocative fashion show that captured the attention of hundreds of users and passengers of the capital’s air terminal. Amidst a show of light, colour and music, with a special performance by Daniel Betancourth, Mall del Cielo presented all the brands, products and services that users and passengers will find at the capital’s airport.
This colourful event, which is rare at an airport, has a double objective, as Andrew O’Brian, President and CEO of Corporación Quiport, explains. ‘On the one hand we promote and publicise the brands and products we offer at the airport, and on the other we want to present a novel and entertaining activity for our passengers’.
Today, air terminals are places where passengers can enjoy, relax and shop. This is how modern, dynamic airports with a focus on customer service have developed brands to bring together the terminal’s range of products and services, so that passengers feel they are in a real shopping centre, where they can buy the latest technology, perfumes or fashion accessories at very convenient prices, as well as enjoy a tasty meal before boarding their flight.
‘Guided by this concept, we strive to achieve higher standards of service and that is the reason why we have selected for you a variety of products and services from local and international brands of recognised quality, at the height of an international airport of the category of Mariscal Sucre. Today’s passengers are looking for comfort, quality and prestigious brands, three characteristics that they will find in the shops of Mall del Cielo’, said the main executive of Quito Airport.
Mall del Cielo is the commercial brand that has been developed with the aim of boosting, promoting and advertising all commercial operators at Quito’s Mariscal Sucre Airport.
