The contract involved the construction of a new build subterranean dining hall with a domed green roof. The purpose built outdoor pavilion was developed to house a state of the art kitchen and dining space and was designed to enable pupils to utilise the turfed roof with decking as an additional space for play. The doors to the pavilion are concertinaed to allow for tables and chairs to be brought outside in the summer months. The compound was constructed using solid acoustic hoarding around the perimeter. It had cut outs incorporated into it to allow viewing from outside.

The works were completed during term time therefore strict H&S precautions had to be put in place.
