News Briefs -We Have a Winner!!Wehaveawinnerofthe2017Row-by-RowExperience.The first submitted quilt for this year’s competition is now on display in our store. The winner is Carrie Pedrini-Pierson who won a stack of 25 fat quarters (6-1/4 yards of fabric!), and, be-cause she incorporated Quilt’n Thyme’s row in her quilt, she received a bonus prize of a pack of Wilm-ington Prints PINKING OF YOU 10 Karat Mini-Gems.

- New Classes Offered!New classes have been scheduled for the month of August.Twister JackTwister patterns are designs with square pieces of fabric which are then cut up with a twister tool to complete the finished project. The instructor will show you how to use your left-over scraps of fabric to complete your quilt. August 12th 10 am-4 pmSwirling Stars - A Card Trick Table TopperThis is a fun table topper. Sew strips together, cut on a 45 degree angle, and you get a table topper that looks super hard but is really easy to make.August 14th, 10 am - 4 pmColor GameMost quiltmakers want to know ore about color strategies but are not sure where to start. Playing this fun and simple game will build your confidence on choosing color combinations for future quilting projects.

In this class we will make nine blocks using differ-ent color schemes. August 4th, 11th, & 18th 1 pm - 4 pmReversible Table TopperFun; fun; fun! Quilt as you go! You can make each side a different theme. Bind them together and you are DONE! August 25th, 10 am - 4 pmWhirlyGig QuiltIf you have a panel you would like to use, but haven’t found the right quilt, this one works great to insert a panel, or you can just put all of the blocks together to make a raditional quilt. August 26th, 10 am - 4 pm
