Introduction

After upgrading Oticon Opn it is necessary to re-pair the instruments with relevant accessories.

Inside, please find a short how-to guide to the different accessories.

Press and hold all buttons for more than 5 seconds.

The status LED will light green shortly twice.

Status LED will light green for about 10 seconds to confirm that remote is ready for pairing.

Ensure that you have working batteries in the hearing aids.Open the battery drawer on both hearing aids. Wait about five seconds and close the battery door again.

Wait for about 10 seconds until the hearing aids are fully powered on and the power-on-jingle has been played.

Place both hearing aids close to the remote control. Within 20 centimeter or shorter.

Shortly press any key on the remote control and it will automatically pair with the hearing aids.

Pairing completed is confirmed by the status light steady green for about 10 seconds.

Ensure that you have working batteries in the hearing aids.Open the battery drawer on both hearing aids. Wait about five seconds and close the battery door again.

Wait for about 10 seconds until the hearing aids are fully powered on and the power-on-jingle has been played.

Place both hearing aids close to, or on top of the TV Adapter.

Pairing is completed when the power indicator and the TV indicator is blue for about 30 secs.

Enter SettingsFind the Settings icon on iPhone.

Select General Select Accessibility Select Hearing Aids Select the hearing aids you would like to remove.

Press forget. The iPhone (iOS device) will now search for new hearing aids.

Select General Select Accessibility Select Hearing Aids Ensure Bluetooth is on iPhone will now search for hearing aids.Open/close the battery door on the instruments so iPhone can recognize them.

Confirm the Bluetooth pairing request: once for each hearing aid.

Start the Oticon ON App Allow access to phone informationThe first time you start the app, allow it to access the phone’s location and send you notifications, for the best possible functionality.

Ensure Bluetooth is switched onIf Bluetooth switched off on your phone, it will automatically show you this message. Press “Turn on Bluetooth” and continue.

Search for your hearing aidsYour phone will connect to your hearing aids when you start the Oticon ON App. If it can’t find your hearing aids, restart them by opening and closing their battery drawers.

Connect to your hearing aidsSelect your hearing aids by pressing the “Pair” button. If someone else’s hearing aids appear, try to search for your hearing aids again.

Wait for the app to connect Follow the brief tutorialThe first time you start the app, it presents you with a short overview of how you can control it.
