How did you attract/address your audience?

Black and white colour scheme to eliminate gender biases and show maturity for the older audience

Gold to attract their eyes and it shows that the issue is special

I have included an opportunity for the reader to win free gig tickets that will most likely meet his interest as young people like partying and going to festivals

I have included a poster as young people tend to stick photos in their rooms

I have used several pictures that may attract both female and males. I think the fact that I have made it black and white eliminates gender biases. For my front cover the smile is neutral and welcoming, inviting people to read it and as the magazine goes on more attitude is shown in the pictures

I chose the name PrintedBeats because my magazine interprets the music into paper form. Literally printed beats. My masthead also stands out which represents the readers that mat want to stand out from the crowd. I used a survey where I had three different mastheads and the majority chose this one.
