1. I like heavy metal because there is so much variety and complexity in the songs. It's always great to go to a show where no one is just standing there doing absolutely nothing, and usually with metal, the crowds don't just stand there. It's all about energy through the music. 2. Its always great to see the artists visual interpretation of a specific song, like it may help to understand the music better or even find a new meaning to the song. 3. Not so much for me, I mean I love the music but in terms of what I wear it doesn’t affect me, I don’t really fit into your typical heavy metal head.

4. I think the performance is defiantly a key feature to have in a heavy metal music videos, watching the band do their thing is sometimes the best way to show the music visually and sometimes they have great stories. 5. Yes sometimes, I mean that all depends on who your listening to someone like system of a down has some really politically motivated songs. I guess it all depends on whom you listen to. 6. Defiantly one of the great things about heavy metal is all the sub genres inside it. Me personally I like doom metal, death metal, speed metal, it really does depend on the mood I’m in. 7. Well for me I got into it quite young around when I was around 14. I think its because my older sister used to listen to it a lot and I just fell in love with it. 8. I hate it when its repetitive, or follows some sort of cheesy storyline like a guy having a fight with his girlfriend or a guy getting into a fight because he’s angry.

.1. I love the brutality and rage that comes through metal; it has a really infectious beat. It's sort of like a barrage and it's tons of fun. 2. Sometimes…when I have the time, I think why I watch them is because its kind of another look at the bands artistic vision. 3. Oh Yeah, defiantly I love the rock star look, the metal studded leather jackets, and jean chains it just looks cool. As for my personality I mean I guess so but maybe that’s just who I am. 4. That’s a tough one because I like watching heavy metal music videos because of there uniqueness, but if I had to say something they all feature, it has to be performance shots they are really important. I would still say the uniqueness of them. 5. Yeah, but that’s like any genre heavy metal has quite a misconception to it, which is that it is all violent shouting but if you really listen to the lyrics from a band like Six feet under and their song “Amerika the Brutal” that song is all about an anti-war message. 6. Yea sure, stuff like Rap metal is cool, its like a combination of my two favorite genres Rap and Heavy Metal, also I love funk metal and Doom Metal. It’s a really diverse music genre I still don’t think I’ve heard all the subgenres of metal properly and I’ve been into metal like my whole life. 7. Like I said I’ve listened to metal for a long, long time, pretty much as long as I can remember, how I got into it? Umm, probably from just the people I used to hang around with, like my older friends they all used to listen to it and I just feel in love with it I guess. 8. I think personally its all the flashy cars and jewelry, it’s really just looks like the artist is trying to show off how much money they have more than anything.

1. The amount of musicianship required to play in a metal band really is incredible and I’ve always admired that. Also, there is a lot more emotion in metal, from what I can tell. 2. No, not so much, maybe sometimes when it’s on the TV, but I’m all about the music don’t really care about the other stuff. 3. Yeah I guess so to some extent. I wouldn’t say I’m your stereotypical Metal head but I do like some of the “metal décor” so to speak.  4. For me it has to be visually creative or have a very clever meaning to it, otherwise I’ll watch it once and then forget about it and performances are always plus, watching guitar solos, drums solos is always good fun. 5. Yeah of course, some songs are about relationships and oth5.er songs are about stopping war, not saying all the bands make music like this; but if you look at some bands music they make really thought provoking tracks. 6. Starting to like Doom and Sludge Metal quite a lot now days, it’s really mellowing and chills me out. But apart from that I like speed metal as well just the energy of it is amazing. 7. Only started to listen to it quite recently, like most people it didn’t really appeal to me but then I met my boyfriend and he really got me into it ever since then I just absolutely enjoy it! 8. Music videos that are all about sexy appeal its, a terrible cliché and is quite offensive and degrading towards women if you ask me.

1. I personally like metal because the lyrical themes go so much deeper then any other genre I can think of, and so much more emotion is put into the singing like, anger and sadness, plus the guitar riffs are just amazing. 2. Yeah, I mean you have chance to revealing another meaning to a song through how you interoperate the music video like “Prison Sexes- Tool” was completely insane but I appreciated the creative vision. 3. I’m all about the music, don’t really buy into the whole uniform just to become labeled by society, but the attitude yes, defiantly heavy metal is defiantly one of those genres that effects how you see things because of some of the deeper messages inside of the music. 4. It has to be well edited, I like something with an original concept hate seeing the same stuff repeated over and over again. Of course performance of the band doing their thing sometimes that the best way to visually portray a song. 5. Yes, of course some heavy metal songs are about love and relationships, others about war and there are even some that make a commentary on society. 6. Yeah, I love Sludge, Death, Doom, Black metal pretty much a diverse taste into the Heavy Metal genre as a whole. 7. Probably around 13 years old I heard some of NapalmDeath’s tracks on my friends iPod and from then on I was hooked. 8. I hate the exploitation of females in music video’s its always about some idiot artist trying to show his dominance or come across as an alpha male.
