Question five

Alex, Craig, Thomas, Ben Question Five In this question we will talk about how we attracted/addressed our audience. The audience that we tried to address was adults and teens. This was because we decided to make our film a rated 18 as told in question 4. Firstly, we made a questionnaire that we then sent to people who were classed in our target audience. These questions asked what they wanted to see from our opening film. When we got the feedback from the questionnaire we then used it to shape the story of the opening film. This then attracted the audience as we were doing what the audience wanted to see. For example to appeal to teens we used the violent scenes which would then appeal to them. We used the enigma to attract the audience because it would then make them question why the package is so important wanting them to go and see it. Also the use of mystery would then appeal to a more mature audience, as it would make the audience try to put themselves in that situation and figure the mystery out. Also the use of shots that were used throughout our film such as the match on action were used to build tension which would then have an effect on the audience and it would then catch the eye of our target audience. The costumes that we used would also appeal and attract the audience, as the hoody that was used for Alex’s character would appeal to teenagers. This would then make them think that the film is about teenagers and make them want to watch it. It is important to attract a specific audience as it will be easier to appeal to that one group, for example if we wanted the opening film to appeal to everyone then it would make the plot and the tone of the film completely

Question FiveIn this question we will talk about how we attracted/addressed our audience. For example to appeal to teens we used the violent scenes which would then

appeal to them.

It is important to attract a specific audience as it will be easier to appeal to that one group, for example if we wanted the opening film to appeal to everyone then it would make the plot and the tone of the film completely different, and more difficult to get people to want to watch it. This would then cause us to lose money.
