Fall 2013 Zen News Question and Answer Dear Feng Shui Adviser My best friend’s 50th birthday is coming up. I would love to give a meaningful gift for her continued support and guidance during a difficult time in my life. Do you have any Feng Shui inspired ideas? True friends are hard to find, yet easy to please. A meaningful gift for this mo- mentous occasion is a testament to your friendship. Think of water; we are deeply connected to water. In Feng Shui, water is an element that brings in abundance. Water is the most precious element that is needed to sustain life…how perfect is a water gift to represent your friendship. Here are some water inspired ideas: spend a day together at the lake or beach, share a drink at a favorite café or lounge, purchase a special shell or fish object that fits in their home décor. Set the intention for continued health and happiness of your friend and friendship. Namaste! Feng Shui Tip You can celebrate the gift of a special relationship (or enhance the area to find a special relationship!) by enhancing the chi (energy) in the back right corner of your home (facing the front door). NINE Feng Shui Inspired Gifts for a Special Person

Using the basic principles of Feng Shui I changed my whole perceptive on how I view my living space. Living in a small tightly cramped one-bedroom apartment in South Boston I questioned what can really be done to change the energy of the place? Julie helped me in identifying the nine key areas in my apartment on the Bagua map and guided me in enhancing the areas in my life that were in a bit of distress at the time.” - Courtney H. 2011
