 7.Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from 

it to the full product?Furthermore, as well as what I have stated in the video above, reflecting on the preliminary task, I can unequivocally say that I have been able to graft independently and carry out operational research and planning, as well as refining abilities such as organisation and time keeping. As an individual I conducted my own primary and some secondary research by purchased a copy of Kerrang! magazine and by also researching others on the internet. Moreover, I believe one feature of this course which was highly advantageous to my overall process, was simply the Photoshoot that I undertook in under to gather primary photos that were successfully in line with the codes and conventions of a rap magazine. This further enabled me to gain a greater level of familiarisation with the specialised SLR camera , thus due to my camera shots and angles, I was then able to consider the exact type of shots I had to take for my magazine, such as the rule of thirds, also the secondary (desk research) that I compiled of different rap magazine in question 1, enabled me to gain inspiration from the current codes and conventions of a rap magazine. Furthermore, I was able to distinguish how I have upgraded my analytical skills in regards to the codes and conventions of magazines. For instance, I have documented on this blog where I have reviewed any work that I have done along with the processes required for that work: such as my school magazine. Also, I have made certain to review my previous documented work and make additional required improvements, if necessary. Thus, I have learnt that assessing , criticising and evaluating my work and persistently making necessary improvements is the key to making a successful media product within a vastly competitive market.
