6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of

consulting this product?

I started out by not knowing anything at all to do with Photoshop, but now I know how to crop images, change the gradient of images, make new tabs, add new layers, add text files and download fonts into photoshop. All of these are vital components of photoshop as they allow you to produce your final piece more quickly and more professionally.

Photoshop

Previously I have not had too many encounters with a camera, as I have had no reason to use them. But whilst taking the photo’s for my magazine I found that learning all the different functions of each button on the camera was quite easy as they are all the same on various cameras

Learning how to use a camera

I have used Prezi, Powtoon, Piktochart, GoAnimate, Wordle, Simple Mind, Canva, Quizlet and Slideshare to make or produce pieces on my portfolio

Web 2.0 tools

At the beginning of the year, when we started off learning about how to use Photoshop, we were provided with a pamphlet that had explanations for what every tool is for. I found these books really helpful, because I was someone who had never used Photoshop before, and without these help guides I would not have been able to produce the work that I have.

How to use guide books

Once every week for the past two months, I have had extra one-to-one lessons to help complete my coursework in time. I found them extremely helpful as they have allowed me to develop my coursework further and make extensive improvements to my work throughout.
