6. What Have You Learnt About Technologies From The Process of Constructing This Product?

I have used many technologies throughout the process of constructing my magazine. I started off with using Apple iMacs which had all the software’s such as ‘Adobe Photoshop’ and ‘QuarkXPress’. I also started off my blog on ‘Blogger’. This was a good way to show how I constructed my magazine step by step. It really helped me organise my work so it was easy for me to look back at it if I needed to.

The main software’s I used were ‘Photoshop’ and ‘QuarkXPress’ to create my front page, contents page and double page.

I also used Canon 600D to take my pictures for my magazine. I used this professional camera so that the pictures would be clear and be in good quality. For my evaluation I used ‘Microsoft PowerPoint’ and then uploaded them to ‘Slideshare’ so then it’d be easier to put onto my blog. I also used ‘Prezi’ which is an alternative to using ‘PowerPoint’. Emaze is also a good alternative to PowerPoint which I had used for my evaluation.
