When talking to quite a few people in our target audience I found that the main thing about our film opening that appealed to them was the plot and then fact that she is a teenager.Other than that things like the uniqueness of the plot and the mise-en-scene really appealed to the audience as it gave a more dark, thriller feel to it.

Having the rough cut of our thriller film opening really helped us see what needed improving in order to appeal to our intended target audience. We saw how the title font needed changing and our soundtrack needed a lot of work. So far, we have reached to our audience through a cinema screening and through Vimeo.
