What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product.

Due to the process of creating a title sequence, we have learnt different technologies and improved old skills we already have. In the

next slides I will state the skills and what we have learnt from the process of constructing the title sequence from our film ‘EXLR8’

Camera/Cinematography Within the filming frame we had, we learnt how to work the camera such as focusing it,

and creating effects on it such as having the lens blurry for effect.

In one of our shots, I learnt how to hold the camera correctly in order to create the steady cam effect. Also we used mono pod with the camera in order to create a extension and lift it up.

To have CCTV effects in the film, we used the mono pod again and held it up high on a angle to have the camera effect. Then on Sony Vegas Maclean used a black and white filter and added the dates and times.

Lastly, we used a lot of p.o.v shots which we filmed by having to hold the camera behind the actors and hold it buy their eyes. This was a little difficult as I had to tip toe and follow everything Maclean did.

Editing Within the editing, the editor has had experience editing already so it wasn’t

as difficult to edit. To edit, the editing software used was Sony Vegas, it took long to render due

to the minutes. I used audacity with a blue yeti mic to construct some voice overs at the

start of the extract. I learnt how to sync that with the video.

Research and planning

By having to research and plan for our title sequence, there was a lot of use of technology for this to be successful. We had to manage our own websites and enbed a lot of codes in order for all our work and planning to be on the website. We also had to use a lot of the internet to find out the locations and get pictures
