How do you attract/address the audience?

I took the research from my questionnaire of people’s interests and made it effective on the front of my magazine.

One of the things I did to attract my audience was the fonts I used. I used a wide range of san serif keeping it bold, this shows an out burst across the page.

Another way I appealed to the audience was through the images I used.

In the image on the front cover I tried using 3 teenagers who have a mainstream look with the hair styles and the clothes they wear so 16-21 year olds can relate.

Another thing I did was in the one of the double page spread images was take the look of an iconic artist (Ed Sheeran) and gave the same style to someone making them another iconic character.

The colours I used gave a patriotic feel too the magazine. This fitted my genre very well as indie alternative kids are all for the British way. They were also bold colours that resemble; power, confidence and perfection.
