Personality can be defined as relatively stable pattern of behaviors and consistent

internal state that explain a person’s behavioral tendency. It means that personality can be

change. For example, a person personality can be change from being a talkative person to a

quiet person according to situation. It can be apply in a situation where the person enter into a

library he should be quiet.

In relative to the movie, the personality of the character in this movie can be described

through Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). MBTI is one of the theories that related to

personality. MBTI is one of the personality test that taps four characteristic and classify people

into one of 16 personality types. The four characteristic can be classify as extroverted or

introverted (E or I), sensing or intuitive (S or N), thinking or feeling (T or F) and perceiving or

judging (P or J). In this movie, the characteristic that we chose from MBTI theory are sensing or

intuitive and thinking or feeling. These are the characteristic that can relate to the movie.

People who are in the sensing types are practical and prefer routine and order. They

focus on details. The characteristic of sensing people is that they collect information

systematically and facts. It is also involves perceiving information directly through the five

sense, it relies on an organized structure to acquire factual and preferably details. Sensing

types focus on present situation. In a simple word, sensing is a person who makes decision

based on facts and systematic.

However, people who are intuitive rely on unconscious process and look at the bigger

picture. Other than that, intuition relies more on inside and subjective experience to see

relationships among variables. Intuitive types focus more on future possibilities. Another way to

define intuitive is that it is a person who makes the decision is based on his or her experience

and intuitions.
