How effective is the combination of your main task and ancillary tasks?

0 My aim when constructing both my music video and my ancillary tasks, was to show continuity throughout so that my product would be easily recognisable to my target audience.

0 I firstly tried to show this continuity through the use of a similar theme and similar images across all three of the tasks. I chose to use a natural theme, due to my music video being filmed outside. Because of this, I linked my video and ancillary tasks together by leaf imagery, so that the audience could easily recognise my song from looking at anyone of the tasks, due to each image containing leaves.

0 I chose the theme of leaves due to my video being filmed outside, so I wanted to portray a natural look on my digipak. I think that the theme enables my main task and my ancillary tasks to work well as a combination as it allows the reader to instantly recognise my song based on them looking at one of the tasks.

0They also work well together due to the same font being used for the album name throughout the tasks, as it makes the name of the album clear to the audience.

When I asked my audience whether or not they thought that my main task and my ancillary tasks worked well together, they said: 0 “It is easy to tell that the digipak does with the music

video”0 “the use of colour clearly links the tasks” 0 “the natural scenery is clear throughout the tasks”
