How did you attract/address your audience?

To attract my main target audience

which is primarily based in Britain, I

used a typical British country

school and country side scene as

traditional British culture tends to

be classically social realistic, which

allows a greater realism for both

English and American audiences. I

feel that this realism allows the

audience, particularly the British

audience, to relate easier and

therefore has a higher attraction

point.

Chara

cter Because my audience is of a

younger age as (15-25) I used

characters of a similar status, a

general 17 year old student

who is still in full time

education. Again this allows a

greater relation between my

product and the audience, as

much of the audience may also

be in education of some form.

Again to attract my target

audience I created an animated

logo that can be related to the

genre of my product, thriller,

and allow a greater sense of

professionalism throughout my

product. Instantly the audience

can recognise the genre of my

product through the text 'Pro-

Thrill Productions' on my

animated logo.

A key convention of thrillers are

enigmas which I felt I used

appropriately to allow the

audience to gain an insight of

the film yet keep them

questioning. This is crucial

when trying to keep an

audience drawn into the plot

making sure enough

information is given yet not

enough that the story and

ending is given away.
