One main image used to attract audience’s attention, uses direct address as model is staring right towards the reader, also gives sense of attitude.

Puff used at the bottom to give the

reader a look at what else is in the

magazine. Contains band names which

might attract a reader to buy the magazine.

Main cover line anchors image,

second biggest text after the title, has a sub-line underneath

sometimes explaining what article is about.

Title is the biggest writing on the page,

catches readers eyes first, biggest and brightest, is a unique type of font

and colours to represent my magazine.

Barcode used at the bottom to give it a professional look.

Positioning statement under title, ‘magazines slogan’ date and issue number also

included along with price.

Cover lines are big, colourful writing to stand out more with small subtext underneath giving readers more information about the article.

along the top.

Page is set out into three different columns to allow more room for writing and photos.

Page numbers are bigger or a different colour

to attract attention and to add diversity.

Included issue date and number included.

also included.

Small headlines for each section of the contents page writing. Tidies it up to

look more neat and easier for readers to find what they are looking for.

Page numbers included on photos

so audience can find that page quickly if a photo attracts them.

the magazine.

pages, one picture taking up at least

two full pages. Smaller image on the third page to relate to article.

Headline is big and stands out

also in a different font to rest of the

article.

Stand first below the title stating

the artists name and a little bit of

information about the article. By line included in stand first.

Drop capital, shows audience

where to start reading.

Quote from artists usually somewhere in

the middle, used to break the text up a bit

more so it doesn’t appear too boring. Page number appears on the

bottom.

Artists name in different colour

along with interviewers

name.

Simple consistent colour scheme. Direct address to audience.
