Architectus Brisbane, in association with Rice Daubney Architects, designed Australia’s largest hospital development—the $1.8 billion Sunshine Coast University Hospital, delivered as a public private partnership with healthcare providers, funders, clinicians and contractors. Architectus also designed the Queensland Emergency Operations Centre and the General Medical Training facility in Townsville which hosts health professionals from remote inland and coastal northern Queensland for one week training programs.

Conrad Gargett is one of Australia’s most experienced health architects. Working on public and private institutions, Conrad Gargett has delivered facilities for all areas of health from aged care and community centres to complex quaternary hospitals. Services include preparing health guidelines, feasibility studies, master planning and brief definition.

Conrad Gargett has worked on healthcare infrastructure projects in Australia and internationally including Queensland’s Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and the Day Surgery Unit at St Stephen’s Hospital in Hervey Bay.
