In this kind of tincture fresh seeds were used in place of the commonly utilized brown color dry
seeds. The color can be well described as green with a pinch of yellow. This type of carrot seed’s
tincture has very less to almost nil sediment & it is translucent largely which makes it a pretty

Habitat
Queen Anne's lace Tincture is probably a native of the sea coasts of South Europe which has de-
generated in the present state which is wild but belongs to ancient time’s cultivation. It has got its
name “Carrot” from “Celtic” and it actually means red color & Daucus has come from Greek
word “Dais” which signifies the pungent & stimulating features of the tincture.
Carrot used to be valued in ancient periods mainly for its medical properties. The wild carrot is
mainly found in Britain in cultivated land as well as by the way side. It thrives more and more by
the sea and is medically superior to the cultivated area.
Description
The root of this tincture is very small & is shaped like a spindle, slender, white in color and very
hard having a very stiff aroma smell and acrid, dis-agreeable taste which is quite different to
reddish, fleshy, thick, cultivated with the odor & peculiar, mucilaginous and sweet flavor. It goes
deep in the ground having just a few root lets.
The stems of the tincture are branched and erect generally two feets high, furrowed and tough.
Both the stems as well as the leaves are almost clothed with coarse and stout hair. Leaves are
divided finely; the lowest leaves are considerably large as compared to the upper ones. Their
arrangement on the stems is quite systematic and the leaves together embrace stem with the base
which is the main characteristic of this plant. The Blossoms are clustered densely together in
umbels or the flat heads in which flower bearing stalk of heads arise from a point in the rays such
as ribs of the umbrella, with each of the rays diving again for forming a second umbel.
The Queen Anne's lace Tincture is distinguished well from all the other type of plants of the
similar order having central flowers of umbel or he small umbellate of a red or purple Daucus.
Constituents
The medical property of seeds owing to the oil which is volatile is mainly colorless or has a tinge
of yellow which is produced with the help of distilled water.

Diuretic, deobstruent. Queen Anne's lace Tincture is an infusion of the herb is a valuable and
active remedy for treating dropsy, diseases of the kidney and the infections of the bladder.
The seeds of the stimulant, carminative and are useful in flatulence, hiccough, windy- colic,
chronic cough, dysentery, etc.
