The history

• DELSER’s history started in 1891 and took his namefrom the founder family living in Martignacco. It beganfrom the founder family living in Martignacco. It beganproducing biscuits, wafers, candies and shortly afterwardsbecame one of the first manufacturers of baby biscuits atthat time.

• In the first years of 1900 Delser

and had the honour to have the Royal

Family as guest to visit the plant site for

two times.

• The confectionery packs became very famous as well as the wafers

The historyThe present plant has been built in 1972 and has been enlarged many

times during the years.

Another important step has occured in 1976 when

Delser began the partnership with Barilla processingDelser began the partnership with Barilla processing

and producing the biscuits under the famous brand

MULINO BIANCO. For many years Delser has been

the sole production plant for all those biscuits.

In 2001 Delser changes its name in Quality Food

Group, always maintaining its traditions and history

Quality and R&DOur Quality Assurance + Control staff iscomposed by 8 food technologists graduated atthe University of Udine.

QFG’s FINANCIAL STRUCTURE

On the 8th of May 2008,

the company Nuova Industria Biscotti CRICH, specialized inthe company Nuova Industria Biscotti CRICH, specialized inthe production of baked goods such as biscuits, wafers andcrackers has acquired the control of QUALITY FOODGROUP S.p.A.

The increased size of the group will allow us to optimize our

investments aimed at innovating our production process and

products. In essence, our aim is to increase our presence in allproducts. In essence, our aim is to increase our presence in all

retail segments both with our own branded products and also

with the many national and foreign private labels.
